The lovely people at Christian Louboutin came to us with the exciting idea of creating an amazing paper caterpillar sculpture with human legs, wearing fabulous footwear of course! We couldn't wait to get stuck in, have a look at the results below, or go and see it in the 'flesh' at the London Mount St boutique..
Huge thanks to Sarah, Charlotte, Jon & Bronwyn for your help bringing the caterpillar lady to life.

French Luxury Footwear Christian Louboutin launches its latest dynamic window exhibit in the London Flagship store, located on Mount Street in the heart of Mayfair.
This season’s creation is a light-hearted tableau, featuring a stylised summer garden against the backdrop of a perfect azure sky and cotton wool clouds. The viewers focus is immediately drawn to the central installation; an oversized Caterpillar whose myriad legs have been replaced with those of a shapely woman.
The specially commissioned paper sculpture which forms the Caterpillar was constructed from individually cut and folded paper segments, connecting together to create the body whilst the playful Lilac and Mint palette complements the caricature-like facial features.
The paper sculpture sits aloft several pairs of mixed skin tone mannequin legs, wearing a dazzling array of high summer styles, assembled to give the impression of motion whilst she runs amok amongst her garden setting, scattering flowers and plant pots as she goes.
